World premiere Andreas Staier “Anklänge”
Tomorrow, 4 January 2023, Andreas Staier’s own composition of 6 harpsichord pieces will be premiered at the Kölner Philharmonie. Inspired by Byrd, Bach and Schubert on the one hand, and music of the 20th and 21st centuries on the other, Andreas Staier brings together his diverse love of music in this work.
The concert, entitled Anklänge, is presented with preludes and fugues by Fischer, Fux, Couperin and Froberger, as well as the Prelude and Fugue in E major BWV 878 by J. S. Bach.
