Welcome Jonian Ilias Kadesha!

As of the beginning of 2020, a new musician will enrich our artist roster: violinist Jonian Ilias Kadesha.
With his creative and imaginative playing, he’s not only convinced us, but also the juries at the German Music Competition, Windsor International and Leopold Mozart Violin Competition. His extraordinary repertoire shows that Kadesha is breaking new ground. In addition to works by Skalkottas (amongst others with great pleasure the violin concerto), Lalo or Sarasate, Kadesha also devotes himself to international new music. Although he feels as comfortable in earlier epoques. His reperoire ranges from Bach over Beethoven to Bartók.
Most recently, Kadesha has appeared as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as the Munich Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, the Lübeck and Coburg Philharmonic Orchestras, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the New Russia State Symphony Orhestra.
Kadesha is currently studying with Antje Weithaas at the Kronberg Academy and has been supported by the Young Classical Artists Trust in the United Kingdom since 2018. He also toured the United States with his Trio Gaspard and can be heard in Germany from February in Essen, Cologne and Reutlingen, among others. To get an impression, we recommend Kadesha’s debut album with recordings by Enescu, Ravel and Skalkottas together with Nicholas Rimmer.

“Thrilling and impulsive … A great debut album and an excellent business card for the duo!”
BR Klassik, Meret Forster, June 22, 2017

We are not only looking forward to exciting concerts but above all to be able to accompany him on his promising musical path.
