Thomas Zehetmair returns to Künstlersekretariat Schoerke

We are delighted that Thomas Zehetmair will rejoin Künstlersekretariat Schoerke! It is an honor to again represent this distinguished artist in German speaking territories.

Thomas Zehetmair is known not only as an exquisite violinist, but also is held in high esteem worldwide as conductor and chamber musician. He is renowned for his deep musical understanding, coupled with his amazing virtuoso technique and probing interpretations.

After having been chief conductor with the Royal Northern Sinfonia, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris and the Musikkollegium Winterthur, Zehetmair will continue his work with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra as their Principal Conductor, and will take over this position with the Orchestre National d’Auvergne in the 2021/2022 season as well. Additionally, Zehetmair regularly is invited by orchestras such as the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Irish Chamber Orchestra, the Stavanger Symfonieorkest, the Seattle Symphony, the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra or the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.

As a chamber musician he founded the outstanding Zehetmair Quartet in 1994. Next to concerts in the most renowned music centers in the world, the quartet has recorded highly praised albums. We anticipate their next recording of Brahms string quartets and look forward to hearing the ensemble live in concert again.
