The Zehetmair Quartett is on tour!

After winning the 2014 Hindemith Prize awarded by the city of Hanau, the Zehetmair Quartett will also be presenting an exciting programme including one of the composer’s pieces during its European tour. In Vienna, Florence and Amsterdam, the quartet will play Hindemith’s string quartet no. 5, which was written in 1923, enveloped by two string quartets op. 3 no. 5 in F major and op. 76 no. 3 in C major by Joseph Haydn. As always, the renowned ensemble will delight audiences with its distinct, technically impeccable virtuosity, unpretentious interpretation not to mention a broad range of expressive musical nuances.
