The Monet Quintet in Reutlingen
The Monet Quintet will begin its shared concert year 2026 in Reutlingen. This Friday, Daniela Koch, Johanna Stier, Nemorino Scheliga, Marc Gruber and Theo Plath will be joined by their guests oboist Kai Frombgen, clarinettist Norbert Kaiser, horn player Pascal Deuber and bassoonist Mathis Stier to perform Jean Francaix’s wind quintet No. 1, Carl Reinecke’s octet for wind instruments, op. 216, Leos Janacek’s suite for wind sextet and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream in an arrangement for wind nonet.
