Martin Stadtfeld to perform concerts in Hamburg and Berlin

One of the most spectacular concert halls – the Elbphilharmonie – will also be welcoming Martin Stadtfeld on 2nd and 3rd May 2017. Together with the Dresdener Festspielorchester under Ivor Bolton, he will perform Beethoven’s piano concerto No. 1 to a full house. Bach’s gamba sonata No. 1 will also be interpreted by the Bach specialist with long-standing chamber music partner Jan Vogler on the cello.
Martin Stadtfeld can then be heard on 5th May when he presents Mozart’s piano concerto No. 9 alongside the Orchester der Komischen Oper Berlin with Henrik Nánási at the conductor’s stand.
In his performance of Bach, Mozart and Beethoven, Martin Stadtfeld will once again demonstrate his astute yet powerful approach to these monumental works of music literature. His interpretation, which adopts a historical perspective, combines with his philosophy of sincerity and masterful command of the keys promising performances that are sure to delight the ear.
