Martin Stadtfeld on recital tour in Asia

Martin Stadtfeld is no stranger to Asia. His fans in Taiwan, China and Korea can once again look forward to his impressive interpretations this April.
His affinity and deepest connection to Bach is his trademark. In his current program, Martin Stadtfeld goes one step further, presenting not only his own arrangement of the “Chaconne” from the Violin Partita BWV 1004, but also his own composition Hommage an Bach, both of which will appear in recordings on Sony Classical this autumn.
In the 12-part Baroque suite, Stadtfeld combines all his experience and knowledge of the great composer with his own ideas. What emerges is a contemporary Baroque work that bridges the past, enchanting the Far East in the coming days.
