Martin Stadtfeld in Japan

Martin Stadtfeld is currently in Japan for some last preparations for his upcoming concerts.
He will start this Friday with a concert at Gargan Music Festival in Kanazawa, where he will play Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition together with local performers and musicians.
From Sunday on, he will then have several recitals and a masterclass lined up in Nagoya, Tokyo, Fukuyama and Kobe with programs of Bach, Beethoven, as well as Martin Stadtfeld’s own arrangements of German folk tunes.
The grand finish will be on May 14th with a presentation of Rachmaninow’s 2nd Piano Concerto in Fukuyama together with Taiwan Philharmonic under the direction of Jun Märkl.
