Jean-Paul Gasparian’s Debut at Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France

This Sunday Jean-Paul Gasparian will have his debut with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France at a very special occassion.
The orchestra is dedicating a weekend to Canadian composer Howard Shore, who is not only well-known for his film scores. In this setting, Jean-Paul Gasparian will play the French premiere of Shore’s piano concerto Ruin and Memory under the direction of Bastien Stil. The concert was premiered in China by Lang Lang for Chopin’s 200th birthday. Thus, despite the nostalgic title, same as Chopin’s music, it lives on in the hands of young musicians and their audiences.
