Jean-Paul Gasparian plays Recital in Neuss

On March 7th, Jean-Paul Gasparian will give a piano recital in Neuss as part of the Zeughauskonzerte, filling in for Till Fellner. In his native France, Jean-Paul Gasparian is already celebrated as a new star on the horizon and is gradually conquering the rest of the music world. With his youthful freshness and astonishingly emotional depth of his interpretations, he’s prevailed in numerous competitions, received numerous awards and earned a direct path into the hearts of his listeners. His first CD with solo works by Rachmaninoff, Scriabin and Prokofiev was released a few weeks ago by the label Évidence Classics. In Neuss, he presents another side of himself, performing Ravel’s Valses nobles et sentimentales, the Sonatas No. 9 in A minor KV 310 and No. 18 in D major KV 576 by Mozart as well as Chopin’s Ballads No. 1-3.
