The cellist Gustav Rivinius is a passionate chamber musician and has always played in ensembles. One of these is with his brother, pianist Paul Rivinius. Many successful recordings for broadcasts, amongst other all Beethoven sonatas, prove their excellent work.
“The audience then experienced a musical masterpiece. The brothers Gustav (cello) and Paul (piano) Rivinius presented three very different works, which were nevertheless united by a common thread. In each of the three chamber music pieces, the composers interwove variations and deliberate, contrasting changes of tempi, moods and colours of sound in order to explore the complexity of human emotions and pour them into music.” (Aachener Zeitung, January 10th 2025)
