Dominik Wagner: Dvorak Premiere in Lucerne

Tomorrow on Wednesday, Dominik Wagner will perform two concerts at the KKL Lucerne together with the Camerata Schweiz under the direction of Howard Griffiths. The young double bass player will present an especially adapted version of the fragments of the Cello Concerto in A major by Dvorak in the version for double bass and orchestra in D major. The arrangement, which Dominik Wagner has created together with his father Wolfram Wagner, not only allows for the strengths of the double bass to be addressed, but also brings clarity to Dvorak’s unfinished work.
