Christian Poltéra: From Mainz to the North Sea
This July, Christian Poltéra will be travelling musically as well as geographically.
This weekend he will play two concerts with the Staatsorchester Mainz and Dmitri Jurowski. They will present Prokofiev’s Sinfonia Concertante.
Just over a week later, Christian Poltéra will then take to the stage of the Concertgebouw Amsterdam together with Ronald Brautigam and perform works by Schumann, Brahms, Liszt and Chopin. This program will be repeated in the Belgian coastal town of Knokke.
From there, Christian Poltéra will finally travel to East Frisia, where Wolf Wondratschek will be waiting for him to present the concert lecture on Christian Poltéra’s Mara-Cello at the Gezeitenkonzerte.
