Trio Jean Paul: World premiere in Bayreuth

For the Trio Jean Paul, returning to Bayreuth is always something very special, not least because of its namesake. Tomorrow evening, it will play a special concert featuring Beethoven’s Piano Trio Op. 1/1 and Robert Schumann’s Piano Trio Op. 63 in D minor, as well as a world premiere. Tobias Rokahr wrote the work “Scenes for Jean Paul” for the trio, which is dedicated to the poet himself on the 200th anniversary of his death.
