Summer Festivals with Maurice Steger

Like every summer, Maurice Steger will spend most of his time this year not at the beach, but at various festivals.
This week, he’ll be performing with Dorothee Oberlinger and a Baroque ensemble at the Gezeitenkonzerte in East Frisia before traveling to the Netherlands on Saturday for a performance at the Open Recorder Days Amsterdam.
Next week, he’ll head back to northern Germany. Together with Hille Perl, Azul Lima, and Sebastian Wienand, Maurice Steger will perform two concerts at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, first in Bad Oldesloe and then in Hamburg Altona.
In early August and early September, Maurice Steger will also visit two particularly beautiful Swiss festivals.
At Klosters Music, he will celebrate the final edition under current artistic director David Whelton with the La Cetra Baroque Orchestra Basel and singer Chelsea Zurflüh, and at the Menuhin Festival Gstaad, he will present an intimate concert with Sebastian Wienand on the harpsichord.
