New release by Dominik Wagner

Today sees the release of Dominik Wagner’s new EP on Berlin Classics, which he has dedicated entirely to Frédéric Chopin. As Chopin is not known to have composed primarily for double bass, Dominik Wagner has once again worked out arrangements for his instrument himself and recorded them with the support of Lauma Skride on piano. Some of the atmospheric nocturnes and ballads can also be heard in an accompanying music video.
