Jonian Ilias Kadesha at the Salzburg Festival
Jonian Ilias Kadesha is taking part in a special concert at the Salzburg Festival this week. As a close friend of Patricia Kopatchinskaja, he will perform tomorrow at “Kopatchinskaja & Friends,” which will also feature Lawrence Power, Sol Gabetta, Reto Bieri, and Olga Pashchenko. Jonian Ilias Kadesha will play solo works by György Kurtág, as well as a duo by Béla Bartók together with Patricia Kopatchinskaja. This will be contrasted by the second half of the concert, which features Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet, bringing together five of the six musicians.
