Christian Poltéra releases new Prokofiev album

Today sees the release of Christian Poltéra’s new album on bis. He is known to be at home in many different repertoires and demonstrates this in his interpretation of various pieces by Sergei Prokofiev.
Together with the Lahti Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Anja Bihlmaier, he presents the complex Sinfonia Concertante and, with pianist Juho Pohjonen, the poetic Cello Sonata op. 119. The recording is completed by the unfinished Sonata for Cello Solo op. 134 in a finished arrangement by Vladimir Blok.
