Julian Steckel – Valery Gergiev

Last Sunday, Julian Steckel joined by the Orchestra of the German-Russian Music Academy under Valery Gergiev delivered a pinnacle performance of Schumann’s cello concerto op. 129 in a-minor at the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. The concert was held as part of festivities celebrating 70 years since the end of the war. The concert will be repeated on 8th June 2015 at the Konzerthaus Berlin.
