Cuarteto SolTango’s Summer Concerts (2/2)

This week marks the start of the third festival block that the Cuarteto SolTango will perform this summer.
Karel Bredenhorst, Andreas Rosketh, Thomas Reif, and Martin Klett will meet up on Wednesday in East Frisia for a concert as part of the Musikalischer Sommer in Ostfriesland, a festival where they have performed many times before.
On Thursday, the four will travel to the picturesque Weilburg Festival before heading a bit further south on Friday to Ingelheim am Rhein near Mainz, where they will perform at the RheinVokal Festival. In keeping with the festival’s name, singer Leonel Capitano from Argentina will join them for this concert.
The week will conclude on Herrenchiemsee at the Inselkonzerte. Once they arrive in Bavaria, the musicians will head into the studio early next week to record their next album.
The following weekend, however, will be spent performing again, this time traveling north. As part of the Celle Summer Concerts, two more concerts in Lower Saxony are on the schedule before it’s time to go their separate ways again for a few weeks. But the next tango evening is already on the horizon…
