Tobias Feldmann – new CD entitled “Polychrome” from Alpha Classics

On 3^rd February, Tobias Feldmann’s greatly anticipated new CD will be released by Outhere Music/ Alpha Classics! The recording delivers what its title, “Polychrome”, promises: the young violinist’s musical and tonal range presents an abundance of chromatic variety. In perfectly attuned cooperation with pianist Boris Kusnezow, he plays the posthumous sonata of Maurice Ravel, Sonata No. 2 in D major op.94 by Sergei Prokofiev and Sonata in E flat major op. 18 by Richard Strauss. With his intricately crafted musicality and rich sound well beyond his years, Feldmann’s passionate and poised approach transforms these works into an unforgettable listening experience.
