Radu Lupu: Concerts in Dresden and Berlin

Dresden and Berlin can look forward to musical highlights in June. Radu Lupu will perform Schubert recitals at the Kulturpalast Dresden on June 6th and at the Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin on June 8th. The Moments Musicaux D 780 as well as the Sonata in A minor D 784 and Sonata in A major D 959 will be performed. Radu Lupu works out the finest nuances between the still distinctively Classical echoes of the A minor sonata and the great Romantic compositions from Schubert’s later years. He gives in to the stormy-dark emotions and proves again that he undoubtedly belongs to one of the greatest pianists of our time.
