New CD of Francesco Piemontesi

This year, you can also enjoy a bit of the outstanding musicality of Francesco Piemontesi, at home or on the road, in the form of his new album set to be released on April 13th, 2018!
Piemontesi has dedicated this album to the solo piano works “Première Année” from the Années de pèlerinage and the second of the Deux Légendes by Franz Liszt, which he has recorded for the label Orfeo. A documentary by Bruno Monaingeon also gives insight into Francesco Piemontese’s exploration of Liszt and his original works.
In 2017, the Berliner Zeitung wrote: “Francesco Piemontesi is currently one of the most interesting, most imaginative pianists.” – and they are not alone in this opinion.
