Isabelle van Keulen Ensemble releases new Tango CD

Angeles y Diabolo, angels and demons – motifs that frequently appear in the tangos of Piazzolla. On their third CD Angeles y Diabolo, to be released on April 6th, 2018 by the Dutch label Challenge Classics, the ensemble around the renowned violinist Isabelle van Keulen deals with the playfulness and longing of Tango Nuevo.

Already the two previous Tango CDs of the ensemble were highly praised by the critics. The Strad wrote: “The Dutch violinist Isabelle van Keulen formed her tango nuevo ensemble to perform Piazzolla’s music to the highest standard”.
With their latest album, this standard is again excellently fulfilled.
